Amado's car is almost the same color I want to paint my 240. I need maybe one shade lighter than that. I think if I make it a light shade of pewter and shoot it in Pearlescent paint, it will be unique and really nice.

And very expensive. Pearl paint is $100 a pint up here.

You're telling me Frank!! I was planning on painting my car this summer. My uncle paints boats for a living and told me that he would paint it and teach me how to prep for painting and whatnot. I recently gave him the paint code DN1, Cobalt Green Pearl, and have be unhappily awaiting the quote for paint.

120k maintenance $600 in parts $700 more for labor if I have it done
New exhaust $700-$1300
Paint $1000+

Working your butt off through High School to maintain the coolest car in school : Priceless

You are gonna have SUCH a great summer!

And you'll probably have it all paid off before you're 40!

Yeah, at first I wasn't very fond of it. But me and my dad were out just looking at cars one afternoon and drove by Napoli and I remember I had seen a green z for sale for a while and just wanted to check it out. (This was a week after driving down to Rhode Island to check out another Z only to come back z-less do to a dealer not willing to negotiate) We walked in after it was supposed to be closed, but the guy said we could look around and as soon as I walked towards the back I spotted it and I was HOOKED. I went back the next weekend with cash in hand and put down my downpayment.

Now, I have to constantly go into my garage to check it out a few times a day.

As for the summer, I can only hope that the rich people in Greenwhich are a little more willing to pay for a caddy this year as last year was not fun or very profitable.

this is like the factory grey but with sparkles, i will get you the color code or if you want i could maybe mail you a small sample as i have some left for touch ups.

this color looks very nice at night, you could see the sparkles come alive. during the day it looks good too.s

by the way to answer a previous question: my car is a 2 + 2 i love the fact that is longer and to me more stable than the 2+0, but who know

When I saw the little guy next to it I figured he mey be yours and 2+2's are great when the kids are little, I had a few 2+2 280ZX's when mine were little, have had 15Z's and about 11 or so were 2+2's, nothing cooler than a sports car with a back seat........

when i bought it, i didn't realized the added benefit of the back seats. My boy wants to go every where with me over the summer. I take the tops off and play him a movie and he's all good back there. the only problem is that the booster seat doesn't sit properly on the bucket sit. that sux big time!!!
