MadLarkin, I concede that this horrible waiting wears down. Otherwise: there is no better start for a steely friendship!

Credit is due, if I was stuck waiting on a car knowing it would spend multiple weeks jumping continents I would be a complete wreck by the time it showed up

Exciting!

And to add to the excitement, here's what appears to be a well shot piece on the 240z...in German!

Colin, how cool is that! I know the car, the red one, it's one of the vintage zedds, Nissan Germany purchased a few years ago. And the guy who's driving it is Robert Tomitzi, a journalist and old friend. I didn't know about his footage. Cool!

WHOOOOOOO!!! What a great Find! Nice work, Colin!

Well Thor, now you have something to watch while you wait for your Zed to come to you. Herr Schumacher has a very interesting car ~ mostly 1970 but with a later rear hatch and later front bumper. Either that or he has glued some 1970 "wings" onto the "B" pillar of a later car and used the dashboard from a 1970 car, too.

Carl Beck will enjoy this *ALMOST* as much as I did

Thor, we expect you to make a TV Magazine report about your 240Z on German TV soon! Maybe you can mention the Club!

Oh yes, an avatar would be so cool!
BWT: a german periodical (Autobild Klassik) for classic cars wants to publish a print story about my 240 and the import when it's here. Of course I will tell the guys about the CTZCC. A point of honor!

Nine, Nine, vat are they saying. I'll have to have my step mom decipher this awesome video. Frank, I noticed that too. I know the European version did have some differences. Like a 5-speed option for one.

The 240 z is already unloaded and ashore. The ship stayed for only one day and is next to Bremerhaven by now.

Just about everyday on the way to work I stop by the ocean and watch the sunrise. I could see a freight liner way in the distance, I felt the Z force was very strong that day. :D Good to hear. Did you send some Mozart candies back on the ship?

Hi Colin:
Great FIND - - - I track the Vintage Z's, so I found this most interesting.

Thorsten - you'll have to get your Friend Robert Tomitzi or someone else - to do an English Voice Over on the Film.. I'd love to know what is said.

I'd like to know more about the Silver 240Z as well.

FWIW,
Carl B.
