Hey all, just figured I'd say hi. I was talking to AirJockie and he suggested I join here seeing that I'm a bit of a Z fanatic..

...I've only had one, and due to New England Rustitis, I had to part ways with her.

She was a 1978 280 2+2, and I picked her up for 250$. I got her running and a few of my friends and I started to strip her down and start the metal work......and we just found way too much cancer.

I ended up having to junk the car, and I was the HARDEST thing ive ever do. I still regret it to this day.

I do have 3 other cars, a 1998 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon (I'm a suaru tech as well lol), a 1972 Baja Beetle, and a 1991 240sx hatchback with mild mods (mostly suspension).

So yeah, there ya go!

We "ain't got nothin'" against 2+2s, if it's a Z that's plenty good enough!!

You ought to be arrested for stealing! Imagine, a Z for $250, even if it was
a rust bucket!! Hope you got your money back (or made a little profit)
off of some parts before you junked it!! Too bad we didn't know you back
then, we could have relieved you of your problem.

Glad to have you aboard; just join us and hang out w/us. I know you'll
get another one sooner or later; once the bug bites you, you're infected
for life.

All Z Best,...................Kathy & Rick

I think he kept the front end and some parts, and was eventually going to fab them up to an S-13 (240sx) chassis... which in my book is hot, and something I was wanting to do when I had time, the parts, and a decent S-13 to do it to.

But I am sure that someone here has the connections to hook you up with a decent project for another 2x2 for under $1000....

Hey RedEvil,
Welcome to the club. I'll make you a deal: you share your name and I'll keep a sharp eye out for that 2+2! Welcome aboard. Ross

Hi Red ~
Glad to 'hear' you in here. Also, THANK YOU, AirJockie, for your persistent recruitment efforts!

This Website is the life-link of the CT Z Car Club, and we have a pretty great time in here. Our Club now has over 300 members, who own about 500 cars among them. The membership enjoys a wide variety of "Z Experience", from first-car owners to career-professional Z mechanics, and every stage in btwn. We all pretty much know each other. We meet monthly for Club meetings, gather on weekends for Fun Runs, and cluster around the cars for our Annual Car Show and Fall Outing picnic (which is coming up this week!). We pretty much know which car belongs to which member and a bit of the history behind each car (except AJ, who buys/builds/sells them too fast for us to keep track). In other words, we are like a growing family.

We love to meet new Z owners and Z enthusiasts, and we're open to everyone. Take a stroll thru the website and, if you like what you zee, please join us! On our Homepage, press the BIG RED BUTTON and submit your application. It's quick, easy, confidential and FREE. It would be cool if you joined us in time for our picnic this coming weekend! AJ will tell you all about last year's Fall Outing.

Please join, and PLEASE give us a name? Thanks! (We recently joined a guy named Toby with a 240SX ~ but he's not from your area).

Z ya~
