Hi,
As you might have guessed I am new to CT Z club, but not new to first generation Z’s. The car I now own is an early 260 that I bought from the second owner about five years ago. I first meet the previous owner over 23 years ago when she was looking for someone to replace the engine for her as her husband forgot to replace the antifreeze…. The only way I know the time line is she was my son’s Kindergarten teacher. The car is in fair shape for its age with little rust that I hope to fix this winter with any luck. Hope to hear from some local shore-line Z fans.

Thanks, David

I am in Groton and work in Old Saybrook. If you have visted "Upcoming Events" you'll see our next meeting is at the Marina where I work in Old Saybrook. Next Wednesday. Hope to see you there or at one of the other gatherings we try.

Hi Dave! Welcome to the family!

It makes me happy when we get more 260 owners in here ~ there are too few of those cars seen. We do have a few of them tho, and you will surely hear from the owners (your new brothers) very soon.

Keith is our Events Director and he also runs our Club Store (where you can buy some really dashing and racy items). Our monthly meeting will be held at the Marina where he works. 7-9PM on Wed/13May in Old Saybrook. Half the Club has to pass by Clinton on their way there, so you might want to hide and ambush them as they go by.

Looking fwd to meeting you in person and seeing your 260. Please don't wear a tie to the meeting! Only the ladies dress up ~ the rest of us climb out from under the Z cars and come as we are.

Hey everybody ~ say hello to Dave!

Z Ya ~

Thank you for the welcome, and hope to be at the next meeting…. Can’t say I have any excuse as I could almost walk there!

Yes Frank, not too many 260’s left, but I will always have a warm spot for them as it was the first Z car I owned.

I would like to thank Clayton P. as he told me of the club.

Hope to meet you all soon, David
