I figured it was about time I introduced myself on this site even though I have been here for some time. I am Clive from NY and I live in the Rockland County area. I have been into Z cars for about 2 1/2 years now and now own two. A 73 with the LS1/T56 and a 71 with lots of little goodies on it.

Here is the car I have been building for two years (73):

I just picked this car up less than a week ago (71): For a complete story on it please see this link --> http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=141186

I am also starting a new Z club in the lower NYC area. I think it is well over due and I hope to have the support of anyone within the area. I already do have a mailing list going and plan to have the club fully up and running by Summer. Please email me if you would like some more info Clive.Bogle at gmail.com

I look forward to reading and learning here and if anyone needs any help with anything here in the NY area let me know.

Yay, Clive! You finally got around to introducing yourself to the membership! We were all stunned when you brought the Evil Z to our first CTZCC Car Show last June, and when you again showed up for our Annual Fall Outing picnic, you simply cemented yourself into the Club. Deep down inside, each of us has fantasized about having a V8 in his Z car at one time or another.
Now I have your 1971 to envy, too! We are all waiting to see shots of the engine when you get time.
Welcome aboard, and I know we'll be seeing lots more of you in the coming events.

Z ya later

Clive,
Thanks for formally introducing yourself on this forum. It is good to have you in the fold and we will certainly do everything we can to support your efforts to build a NY-based Z club during 2009. With the state of the automotive industry, it is going to be a challenge to obtain/retain dealer sponsorships. But I'm sure the z clubs will find a way to survive. Sincerely, Ross

PS - I'm still cleaning your tire marks off the street in front of my house :)

Thanks for the welcome so far! Ross, you know I was wondering if I had left any marks on your road....sorry about that. Thanks for sharing your yard with us all and look forward to being a part of the club.

Also since post number one, NYZCC has grown and doing well. We are looking forward to another great year coming and being present at more CTZCC events.

Also, bought a low vin car since then and planning a monster turbo build. Working on picking up another car

May be time for a house. :D
