Hello All, I recently purchased an 88 Turbo and I love it. A fellow employee, also a Z owner, told me about the club and I couldn't wait to join. Look forward to next year and getting together to see some great cars and meet good people.
Can someone point me in the direction of a good shop if the time comes and I need some work done on my Z.

Thanks

Welcome _______,
First, how about a name?! We Z people like to get to know each other and names are a great place to start. Anyway, welcome to the club - it is great to have you aboard. Your question is a common one and unfortunately we don't have a long list of Z mechanics to share with you. Please try Vinny Bedini who is listed on our home page under Member Sites. Good luck and I look forward to meeting you in person. Ross

Hi "D" ~

It's a pleasure to have you aboard. The 88 Turbo car was a mighty beast for its time. It cleaned house in the SCCA races and on the streets. We have several members in the club lucky enough to have one, and I'm sure you will be hearing from each of them as they learn you're here.

If you've had the car thru the summer, you already know how great these cars are, and what made them the world's most popular Sports/GT car in history.

Looking fwd to meeting you and seeing your Turbo car. Thanks for the INTRO and we'll be watching for pictures of your Z in the MEMBER RIDES gallery soon.

Z ya later!

Welcome, and do post some pics. of that great car of yours. The 88 turbo is one of my favorites. Toobad I'm in R.I. because I like to work on Z's and have quite a few of my own to work on.

Thanks Dominic (alright to call you Dom? Saves a lot of typing) ~
please don't wait until your car is "perfect" to send us a picture! We would rather see it sooner than nicer.

Where did you find the car?

Calling me Dom is fine.
I have added two pics of my 88Z. I apologize, I didn't have time to detail it before I took the pics.
My brother found the car while doing a construction job. Ended up purchasing the car from the original owner.

O, the white turbo ! Nice. Now I believe if that says SE on the back, (memory is a little faded on this,) but I believe that should have a one of a kind rear end in it. It only came in the white turbo, and it has to have the SE on the back, and I think it was 88 only, might be 87-89, but like I said, not 100% positive. If I can ever find the document on this I'll post it, but you can research as well. If this is so, I concider you lucky to have a special Z. :D

What a handsome car. Like a graceful brute, if that's possible. I really like the side profile.

Paul, I believe you are speaking about the special Shiro edition Z. It came out in 88 and was all white including the wheels. My Z is not the Shiro edition but it is a special Z.
