After taking a early retirement from a rather adventurous 37 years in the IT world, I picked up an 88 'Z' that my wife's brother bought new and was about to turn it in on an Infinity. I was fortunate to head him off at the pass..
I have had a number of Sport cars in the past, the first being a Austin Healy 100-6, followed by a AH 3000 (1967 vintage), a
Sunbeam Tiger, a mildly modified TR-6, and most recently a TR-6 with a Ford 302. However, th 'Z' is the most fun(partly because it has more legroom and parts are more easily acquired)..
Enough said..Glad to be joining to Club.. John

Welcome John, glad to meet another Ct Z owner and soon to be Z fanatic. Be prepared because once you own a Z, you can never get it out of your blood.

I'm assuming that you did not get to attend our Z Fall outing yesterday....that's unfortunate for us AND for you. You would have seen some great examples of all generation Z's and more importantly, you would have had the opportunity to meet the owners. Nothing like networking when restoring a Z. Please keep watching the Upcoming Events forum for another event this fall. I have a feeling that there'll be at least on more get together somewhere before our cars go into hibernation for the winter.

If you haven't run across the post regarding yesterday's outing, here's a link to the pictures.

Hi John! Thanks for the introduction.

Welcome to your new family! I started out on Healeys in the 60s and always wanted a Tiger. Not real sure I'd trust a TR-Anything with a 302 in it tho.....tell me how that works out.

Try not to think of yourself as being "late for the Fall Outing" ~ let's just say you have a real big head start on NEXT year's events! Feel free to get involved in our Forum discussions; we're always happy to learn from other members' experiences. Don't be afraid to ask questions in here, either ~ if we don't know the right answer, we'll make something up for you

Looking fwd to the chance to meet you and swap stories. Stay safe!

Z ya later ~
