HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my 1970 240Z #02807, which was 'born' 42 years ago this week, while I was boots-on-the-ground in I-Corps, South Vietnam.

I always suspected this car was made for me, and waited to zee if I made it home. :D

Wait...... I read somewhere on here, maybe one of your stories, that you share birthdays within a week of your Z. Did you say it was the 21st? If so, that's around the corner captain!

No, my Z and I were born months apart. Not sure what it was you read ~ probably somebody else who feels "related" to his Z!

Quite possibly. If I come across it, I'll pass it forward.

That could've been me & lil red; we share June 'production dates'. I've just not been able to nail down the actual birthweek of HLS30 33739.

Thanks! 8,000 posts in 4 years = 2,000 posts per year = 5+ posts per day. Whew! It's a wonder I still have any fingerprints left.

Keep typing! One day, when you don't have any left, you and I will find all the Z cars and steal them all...no traces!

Well! According to Carl Beck, my Z turns 43 years old THIS WEEK, possibly even today! :D

So happy birthday to my 02807! Guess I'll take it for a nice birthday drive.

Frank

I called the Nissan USA office a few years ago, gave them my VIN and they provided a born on date of 8/16/1981.

Thanks, Steve.
I still walk out to the garage just to run my hand over the car at night.
Totally addicted, recovery is not expected.
