Hello Everyone!

My name is Jim Hagani and I am the webmaster here at CTZCC.com.

I am the original owner of a 1981 280ZX Turbo (auto, black ext.) with 89K miles. Currently, this car is in limbo as I look for a way to replace the turbo - a task that is beyond my capabilities, at least at the moment.

I also own a 1980 280ZX 5-speed (black with yellow highlights, both int. and ext.) which I purchased earlier this year. Although the car has 139K miles, it is virtually rust free.

Here are some of the things the prior owner had done last year:

Custom cold air intake with K+N Filter,
Head port + polished - milled for compression,
    Competition valve job,
Custom ground cam(Schneider) with matching springs,
    New mass air flow sensor,
    Pacesetter header,
Custom bent 2 inch exhaust with Catco High flow catalytic,
    Turbo muffler,
    New fuel injectors,
New Centerforce clutch and throw out bearing.

I enjoyed meeting many of my fellow CT-area Z enthusiasts at the Labor Day gathering in Darien, CT.

Please register on this BBS and post your own Intro!

Hi Jim ~

It was nice to meet you at this month's CTZCC mtg in Darien NISSAN, and THANK YOU for guiding me thru the registration process. You have the best website I've seen for any club ~ it's user-friendly and visually attractive. Good job.

TURBOs: I will be looking at an early 80s 280ZX turbo parts car later this week ~ what can I bring you that will fit in the back of my Explorer?

(PS~ My bloodpressure raises each time I view the picture of your engine bay! How in the world do you trace vacuum leaks, spark jumps, or ticking noises in all that spaghetti? THANK GOD for the early L24s! No doubt changing the turbo is "BYC" right now ~ you'd have to be a Chinese Coal Miner just to change the plugs in there! Wheew!)
