Don't forget, I also know Korean. So if I can find a keyboard that will
type in Korean characters I could badmouth everybody and their cars
and they wouldn't know the difference! (But Japanese or Chinese,
that's another story.)

The 240 is finished, is on TV on sunday and has already conquered the streets.
There's not much to better driving a Z!
New pics in members ride area!

Hello Thorsten:
I can't tell you how happy this makes me. Although I had originally expected that you would drive it for a year or two before restoring it... but I guess I knew better than that. ;-)

You will Post the TV Video on U-Tube won't you?

Now do you know anyone that wants a 1986 Porsche 944 with 6K original miles? With a couple very minor exceptions - it is "as new"
See: http://zhome.com/Ads4Z/944/944.htm

A friend of mine owns the car and I've known it since it was new. Priced for Quck Sale..

kind regards,
Carl B.

(Hey, wait ~ do we sell Porsches on this website???? )

Thor, this is wonderful news! Your Z is finally finished! Now you can spend long nights blasting thru the Black Forest roads :D .

This is a beautiful car, and it looks perfect. I know you're happy with it!

Please send us a video of the Sunday TV show about your car!!

Frank

HI Frank:
This one isn't really being "sold" so much as "given away". You couldn't replace the paint job on this 944 for $10K. I really hope that someone that I know, has space in their garage or living room for it.

If I put it on my VISA, then kept it at a remote storage site - I wonder how long it would take my wife to figure it out? That or perhaps I could sell my White 72.... na....

Regards,
Carl

Hi Carl. I'm very impressed with Thor's 240Z, and now his is more perfect than mine, so I'm jealous.

All my life I have wanted to see Bavaria. Now I have another reason to visit there. Why don't you and I wait until Oktober and take a trip over there?

Frank

Hello Carl,

thanks for your reply. This is an interesting Porsche.
There is a friend who knows the Porsche collector scene at best.
I will ask him.
I had - what a fortuitousness - TV shootings on saturday at
Schärtl Racing Power, which is one of the most competent Porsche workshop over here. I will ask the owner as well.
http://www.schaertl-racing.de/

I will keep you in the loop.
And: don't forget our spin in your BRE...

Best,
Thorsten

Hello Frank,

thanks for your laudation.
The appearance of my 240 on TV was shortly, but anyway.
I try to get a copy, which I can post.

Best,
Thor

Thanks Paul. Here is another interesting pic. The logo was a present of my wife. She's also affected by the z-virus!
