Hi All- my name is Rich S and I might have met some of you yesterday at the annual meet. I drive the green 1971 240z. It was a pleasure to meet a lot of you and thanks for being so welcoming. Excited to be part of the gang.

Welcome Rich. Picture-perfect 240, and those 8-spoke wheels just set it off.

I was the guy who handed out the stick-on ID badge to you. We're glad to have you aboard. You joined with PERFECT timing; you got to come to the best event of our year. All the cars head for hibernation right after the picnic, because snow and salt are soon to follow. It felt good to put another 120 miles on my Z before I button it up again this year.

We have over 800 members in the CTZCC, about 500 of them in CT. There are nearly 1,000 cars listed to our members. We can usually get about 30 members together for a monthly meeting (we hold them at various locations around CT) and last year we got about 100 cars on Ross' lawn  When he still lived here, Bob Sharp Hisself attended each of these picnics. This year the weather was "Iffy" and the National Z Convention was being held in Atlanta, which took some of our members down south instead of to Darien.

I urge you to stay active on this website over the winter. You'll get to meet and know a few members that way, and an active website helps keep some of us sane during the winter.

Tell us some things about your beautiful '71.

I'm glad you're here with us.

Frank T

PS; do you have a pond near you?
