The car looks great! Where in Boston did you go to school? I went to Wentworth institute of Technology in Boston for Industrial Design

Awesome! My freshmen year roommate was ID as well. I'm at Wentworth as well! Architecture major.

Thanks for the compliment on the car!

So...where to begin?

Before flying over the pond for some time in Portugal with my family, I began to work on the front suspension and steering components of my Z. Everything went along pretty smoothly. These are the things I did:

Front Sway bar poly end links
Front Sway bar poly mounts (& painted the mounts)
Painted the LCAs (+10 HP)
Painted the Sway bar (+5 HP)
Tension rods sanded and clear coated
Tension rod poly bushings
New Ball joints
New Inner and outer tie rods
New Outer tie rod polyurethane caps
New Strut bearings
New Bellows (plastic boots that go around the inner tie rods)
Re painted the steering knuckles

I also slid on some heater hose onto the ST Springs I have, as they were getting caught on the perch of the strut assembly. Thanks Travis Moore for the tip. I haven't had them catch since. The car is just shy of 82900 miles now.

Here are some pictures to go along with my post. Everyone loves pictures.

Here are a couple of "before" shots:

The ball joints were a pain to remove until we knew what we were doing...thanks dad. Good thing I was planning on replacing them anyway.

This was taken at very early on a Saturday morning. I'm sure my neighbor's love me!

Put on as much poly as I could! Tension rods:

In the process I test fit these RCAs/BSS. Didn't like how much of the LCA I would have to ground off, so I didn't use them. For $115 they could be yours.

Used these to fasten down the bellows:

And we're done! Guess you could say we got some parts installed!

As soon as I finished this (literally) I was off to Firestone to signup for the "lifetime alignments" with them. I got the car back and it drove amazingly well!!

Very happy thus far.

I made the post minutes before leaving for work. The pictures came out huge, so I want to redo it. I didn't have time to fix before going to work.

Side note:

People weren't lying when they said our Zs are notorious for eating sockets. I found this in my bay along the frame rail. I personally have yet to lose a socket in the bay, so that means this has been there enjoying the ride for at least 18 months...

Filipe it might just be an original equipment tool . . . . . one of my friends told me years ago that he often finds tools left behind from production when investigating rattles in cars. :P
