A little after 3:05 PM this afternoon, the CTZCC forum recorded it's 38,000th post. Now it may surprise some members that the author of the post that put us over the 38k mark was made by a member who infrequently visits our website and very rarely authors forum posts.

Congratulations go out to our very own Frank Thomas!!

Frank, your complementary gift will be in the mail in the morning. It's a good thing we still have Saturday mail delivery.

:D Thanks, Phil!

AHA!!! Finally, I get to win one of these!
It's an honor to have contributed the 38,000th Post to this esteemed Club Website. The news, information and communication we exchange here helps keep some of us sane during the winter months, and unites us all in a common theme.

We do indeed have the best Z Club in the country. Makes me feel sad for the rest 8) (Cue-in Carly Simon with, "Nobody Does it Better").

My guess is that we have averaged about 10,000 posts per year for the past 4 years, or more than 25 posts per day. That's a pretty active Club and one which keeps our members tied together pretty tightly. I don't know how many hits per month our website gets nowadays, but if you Google "Z Car Club" we're always in the top 3 responses.

Best Z Club I've ever belonged to!!!

On that subject, I plan to post updated club graphs in the near future!

["I plan to post updated club graphs in the near future"]

I always found those fascinating. They show trends and patterns of our Club, and some of them are predictable. Generally, we exchange more and more conversation each year, and we watch the traffic fall annually btwn the Annual Fall Picnic and Christmas. During the winter we keep each other (semi-) sane with this Website, discussing each others' cars and making Club plans, etc.

In the Spring the whole website explodes with activity as our cars come out of hibernation, and we start getting together for events, road trips and monthly meetings.

Maybe those stats were more important to me than to others, but I always felt as if we were keeping our fingers on our "Club Pulse" when we published them. (In fact, that wouldn't be a bad Subject name for a monthly post, Phil 8) )

And THIS is post #38500. :D

500 posts in less than 3 weeks, during the dead of winter. That's highly unusual for us, and shows we're probably the most-active Z Car Club with a website on the internet.

In fact, if the upcoming ZCon wasn't sending so much traffic to ZCCNE and ZCCA, we'd probably be #1 right now.

Yeah-we've been on fire lately.

We're going to have to have a part for 50,000!

It's great to see how the club develops.
I'm member since 2009 (a sort of brownfield ;) and I realize year after year how the CTZCC and the membership signifies an enrichment for me and my interests in the Z.

Glad to have friends across there.

My word! How did we just go from 38,700 posts on 28Mar, to 38,900 posts on 2April? .

Did we really just enter 200 posts in 5 days???

That HAS to be a record!

This Club ROCKS!!!

And today, 08April, Reverend in Finland pushed us over 39,000 posts! That's a thousand posts in exactly a month. :D

Reverend actually won himself a free 1/25th scale model of Pete Brock's 1972 race car by entering that post! TheZMan and I had agreed to give one away to whomever made the 39,000th post. All Rev has to do is agree to build the model any way he wants, and enter pictures of it in the CTZCC model contest this year.

Congratulations, Rev! And thanks for your support!
