Many people have been asking how they can contribute money to aid Tommy Sullivan Jr. I want you to know that the CTZCC plans to facilitate giving to Tommy in several ways. First, we will be collecting direct monetary donations from anyone that is moved to do so. Second, we plan on selling Tommy Sullivan memorial license plates (see below) designed by Mike Tubiak with ALL proceeds going to the memorial fund (CTZCC will pick up the cost of producing the plates). Third, we will undertake some activity at our July car show to benefit the fund (such as a 50/50 raffle). We will also be selling the license plates at the show.

If you would like to make a monetary gift, please send it to:

CTZCC
97 Christie Hill Road
Darien, CT 06820

Make your check out to CTZCC and write TS Memorial Fund in the note.

I GIVE YOU MY PERSONAL GUARANTEE THAT ALL FUNDS COLLECTED BY THE CLUB WILL BE GIVEN TO TOMMY SULLIVAN JR. IMMEDIATELY AFTER OUR JULY CAR SHOW. I WILL PROVIDE A DETAILED ACCOUNTING OF FUNDS COLLECTED AND REMITTED TO TOMMY JR. TO ANYONE WHO REQUESTS IT. I WILL ALSO POST THE TOTAL AMOUNT GIVEN ON OUR WEB-SITE.

This put tears in my eyes. I'm very proud of this Club.

Nice work, Mike T.
Great idea, Mister Prezident.

I want at least one. Maybe four.

Personally, I would like to thank CTZCC for taking up this task on such short notice. I know this will mean a lot to Tom Jr and his family. I have been in talks with some of the family members of Tommy and they LOVE the support they see from NYZCC and CTZCC.

Thank you all, CTZCC is doing exactly what Tommy would have done by stepping up to the plate and think nothing of it.

Im racing at Summit Point in two weeks, I would love to put one of those plates on the car when I am down there. How soon will they be ready?

We will have the license plates sometime early next week. We will be selling them at our meeting next Wednesday at Executive Nissan and at future meetings and events. We will also sell them via our web-site.

Thanks Frank. I wish it were under better circumstances. The plate idea came to me pretty quickly. When I think of Tommy that plate just pops in my head. Anything else I can do just let me know. Tommy was such a great guy and I know he would do the same for any one of us. Let's all be a rock for Tommy's son to lean on.

Are people going to meet somewhere before going to this event on May
19th?

( Ride Around the Hudson)

It will take me approx. two hours to get to Danbury from my house.

So I will need to get there early and gas up before trip.

Tks,
Mac

Let me know if anyone is looking to meet up to drive into town for the funeral. I live about 10 min outside of town.

Both the shirt and plates are awesome ideas.

I've been very busy of late and have been largely absent from the clubs. But I will surely participate in the May 19 run to in honor of the family.

Regards,
Jesse

I will have the "Sully's Z" license plates for our meeting this week. If you do not plan on attend, you can order one "on-line" (so to speak) bu following the instructions on our home page (www.ctzcc.com). ALL gross proceeds will be given to Tommy Sullivan Jr.

We have ordered a limited supply and they will be sold first-come first serve. So if you are interested, don't wait. Personally, I will be mounting one of these in my garage so that I can always remember our good friend Tommy.

I'm happy to report that with a donation received today from the Z Car Club of Rochester, the Sullivan Memorial fund is up to $485.00. We will continue to sell License plates at Z meetings through the date of our annual car show (7/21). I hope that we can raise $2,000 for Tommy Jr.

I just want to give a big thanks to Mike for doing something like this, his talents are much appreciated around here. In these sad times, something like this lifts your spirits up a little bit, that your doing something, just a little bit to help lift up Tommy Jr. from all this so he can move on. One plate, two plates, whatever it takes, but in all, Tommy Jr. has the support of many people.

And the same for Joe Plescia, who executed the plan (no, I don't mean
he KILLED the plan, I mean he put it into BEING!). Joey always does such
meticulous work and is also a true asset to our Club. With a team like Mike
and Joe in our Club, I suppose our imaginations are the only limitation
on what they can produce!!!

I am pleased to report that our Tommy Sullivan Memorial Fund is up to $745.00 after today's Fun Run. I am also pleased to let you know that Tommy Jr. has agreed to attend our July car show where the final tally of proceeds from this fundraiser will be presented to him.

I'd like to again thank Mike Tubiak for the idea and design, Joe Plescia of Success Printing for the manufacture and all that have purchased for your generosity.

Plates are still available by mailing a $25.00 donation to me at:
97 Christie Hill Road
Darien, CT 06820
Make checks payable to "CTZCC"

or you can make a donation in person at our June meeting on June 14th at Middletown Nissan.

Get 'em while they last!
