Congratulations to MIKE_G, who entered this Club's 20,000th Post at 9:21PM (21:21) tonight!

Our counter registers a single entry for any given minute. Wild Bill (ZXToy) fired in his entry (one of many, in keeping with his Blanket-Bombing strategy 8) ) at 9:20PM, followed immediately by Mike's winning 20,000th entry at 9:21.

Our 19,000th Post was entered 37 days ago, on 30Sep. Our website averages btwn 40-50,000 hits each month. Your Club has to have one of the most active (if not THE most active) websites on the internet!

After consultation with our Awards Director, we'll announce what happens to Mike for doing this to us this month!

THANKS MIKE, for keeping the ball rolling!

Frank

CONGRATS Mike!! I'm Happy to have helped you get it!
Now I seem to have seen some obscure post from someone about an all expenses paid trip to Utah , didn't I Frank? Something about the Salt Flats and Bonneville.
You do know that I'm only one state away from there. Of course our states on this end are a teeney bit bigger than on your end!

Frank, I am still quite new at computers, so please help me distinguish
between a "post" and a "hit." They would seem to me to be the same
thing, but the way you presented it, they must be different.

And if that be the case, then I would conclude that a "hit" must be when
someone visits a website without making any entries, while a "post" is
when someone actually enters some information into the site?

How close am I?-- Don't mind me, I'll be along within the next 45 years
or so. By then I might even learn how to take pictures of the cars and
enter them in the Members Rides section!

Rick you're right on the money...

Bill thanks for the encouragement. I would like to donate my trip to you.
Maybe you can exchange it for a trip out here to a CTZCC event of your choice !

Exactly right Rick ~ a HIT is a visit, and a POST is somebody writing something.

We get nearly 50,000 hits each month, and Mike just gave us our 20,000th Post!

Mike, after careful consideration and discussion among the Officers (and after checking the CTZCC PriZe Vault at the end of the Zeason), we are proud to inform you that in recognition of your contribution to our bustling website, we are mailing you a free DATSUN/NISSAN History Poster, suitable for framing. This is a color poster depicting 40 years of Z models, from 240Z to 370Z.

You can hang this in your garage, your den, or your livingroom. Mine is going on the ceiling directly above my bed, so the Zs are the first thing I zee each morning!

Congratulations, and THANK YOU once again for helping to keep the CTZCC website alive and active!

Frank

Congratulations Mike and good effort Bill! You guys are both prime examples of why this web-site is so interesting and active.

Not yet Frank.
I thought someone would have passed it along at RDZ. If it was mailed and Ext was omitted from my address. It could take a while.

Mike,

I had the poster with me yesterday and missed you by about 30 minutes. I'll mail it out next week.

PM me the proper address.

Congrats!

NOPE! Not I. I was dutifully on watch and I caught your 21,000th Post, Wild Bill. I also saw your other EIGHT entries, minute by minute!

You blanket-bomber!

Zee my entry in WHAT'S NEW tomorrow!
I'm going to bed.

Frank
