Well, sometime today (27 Posts ago), somebody entered this Club's 18,000th Post!!!

I was away from the computer most of the day and now can't figure out who it was, or when.

Sorry guyz, I failed. I usually try to keep my finger on the pulse each time we approach one of these landmarks, but today was craZy busy here and quite honestly, this past 1,000 Posts happened so soon after we hit 17,000, it just got by me.

The 17,000th Post was entered on 12August, just 21 days ago!!! Y'all have set a new Club record by Posting 1,000 entries in only 3 weeks! That's an average of more than 333 entries each week ~ or more than 47 entries each day!

You guyz and galz have initiated and maintained the highest momentum of any Z club in my personal experience. Pat eachother on the back for that!

Keep up the great work, CTZCC!

Frank

It was I.
From the hospital computor in far away Scottsbluff Nebraska. It was this morning at around 9:30am mountain time , 11:30 your time.
I was watching the post count and commented on a couple members rides just to get the17998, 17999, 18000,and 18001 posts. It was my claim to fame in the club!
I wanted to represent my part of the world amoung you civilized people!

And Frank I forgive you for being AWOL! :D

AHA! That sounds believable and I accept it, without objection?

So in light of any evidence or objections to the contrary, I do declare ZXYTOY (Bill) to be the contributor of this Club's 18,000th Post at the time and date he specified! :D Location was Corn County, Nebraska and I'm personally flattered that Bill was actually turning to us for a bit of diversion from his hours of strife.

I feel this momentous occasion should be marked by either a CTZCC cap, a decal or a Tshirt, which can be mailed the next time the Club Store is open (which will be at the 08Sep meeting).

What's your choice, Bill?

Frank

Although it is not neccesary , I would be honored to wear a CTZCC cap . I'm very challenged in the hair department and wear caps alot to keep from getting sunburned or cold  ( that's my story and i'm sticking to it). But to have and proudly wear a CTZCC cap clear out here in "corn country" would certainly be an honor. You guys are too kind.

:D Quess what I got into todays mail at work!!! I ripped open the package and put my brand new CONNECTICUT Z CAR CLUB cap on my balding head ( actually it is balding and shaved 3 weeks ago when Shelly started chemo again- it's a support thing) ! It fits perfectly and I wore it proudly all day. And much to my surprise and enjoyment I also discovered a beautiful round CONNECTICUT Z CAR CLUB window decal that I immeadiatly took outside and put on the rear drivers side quarter window of my ZX. Thank You more than I have words to express. In a very tough time in my life you guys brought a huge smile to my face with one act of kindness. Shelly had a MRI brain scan today. We won't know those results for a couple days.
The CONNECTICUT Z CAR CLUB is PROUDLY represented here in far western Nebraska.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! :D :D :D

Wow Frank you have no idea how big my smile is now! All through the first 20 years of my 33 years in construction as a carpenter My co workers , bosses and employees nicknamed me" Wild Bill'. No one has called me that in many years. It was always a well earned name, I was known for volunteering for the tough and/ or dangerous jobs that everyone else shied away from. I was also known for completeing those tasks . So when I read your post referring to me as Wild Bill I actually laughed out loud. Thanks for the laugh, I haven't had many lately and yours was much appreciated! I will smile everytime I reread that post.
