Well, the bad news is that our season is winding down. The good news is that there is one more major event left on our calendar - our annual Fall Outing scheduled for Saturday October 17th in Darien! Many people say this is their favorite event of the season due to the relaxed format. No need to wash, polish, wipe or wax - just show up hungry and preferably in your Z! This event runs from 11:00am through 4:00pm and spouses, kids and significant others are all welcome. Feel free to come early or stay late - but be forewarned that you will be put to work! Bring a chair, Z parts for our free swap table and maybe a light jacket - food will be provided compliments of the club.

We are also raffling off a premium 16"x14" engraved CTZCC wood frame to one person that uploads two or more photos of their car(s) onto our Member Rides board by October 10th. Club Meetings:

There are no more club meetings this season! We held meetings from March through September and hopefully you were able to attend one or more of them enjoying pizza and presentations by club members. It will soon be time for your officers to begin their long winter slumber, dreaming up new ways to make the 2010 season even better than 2009. During the off-season, we encourage you to post (on our Discussion Forums) and host Fun Runs and other casual gatherings until our meetings start up again next Spring.

Last Club Meeting:

We held our last meeting of the season on September 9th at Miller Nissan in Fairfield. We had great weather, a record turn out of almost 40 people / cars and a very welcoming host. Those that attended had a great opportunity to hear the "behind the scenes" story of Car #00013 directly from the owners, Rick and Kathy Morgan. You can see pictures, compliments of Phil Parent at:

2nd Annual Show at Middletown Nissan:

Our second annual show was held on Saturday September 19th at Middletown Nissan in Middletown, CT. The weather was sunny and warm, we had almost twenty more registered cars than last year (a total of 67), car #13 was officially unveiled and people came from all over the Northeast (and Florida) to attend this show. Adding spectating Z's to the count - we had over 80 cars at this event, which is a CTZCC club record. Middletown Nissan was an excellent partner and their support of our show was outstanding.
