Here are the real updates:

Club Meeting: Our next club meeting will be held on Wednesday April 8th at the "Garage", 19 Vitti Street in New Canaan, CT 06840. This space is (you guessed it) a former automobile garage that has been converted into a very cool meeting place. It has room for up to five cars inside the vintage garage and has finished space on the 2nd floor with a kitchen, conference room and other amenities including projection screen with full audio/video capabilities. We will have Bob's GTR and the club's first 370Z on display for the rest of us to envy. I may also pull my 350Z inside so that members can conduct an up close inspection of differences between the 350 and 370 models. There is off-street parking for about 25 cars and additional parking on the street.

Restorations: Our club members have some great restorations / modification projects currently underway. Check out a few of them at:

Rob & Colin Foote's 1971 240Z: http://forums.ctzcc.com/viewtopic.php?t=3619 and http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/21060247
Clayton Pace's Garage, Rotisserie Build and 260Z: http://forums.ctzcc.com/viewtopic.php?p ... ght=#12092 (it's worth the four pages)
Jim Arnett's 1970 240Z: http://forums.ctzcc.com/viewforum.php?f=15
Clive Bogle's 1971 240Z: http://forums.ctzcc.com/viewtopic.php?t=3728
Paul Mackin's 1979 280ZX: http://forums.ctzcc.com/viewtopic.php?t=3805

CTZCC Store: All items in our club store will be available at our regular monthly meetings, which will save you some postage. Bring some extra cash or a check and head home with some nice CTZCC merchandise including caps, shirts, patches and maybe one of the last fleeces or vests in stock. Coming soon - CTZCC window decals. All proceeds after cost, go to fund future Club Events. Untill we see you at a meeting, you can also view store items on-line at http://www.ctzcc.com/shop.html.

Events: "FUN RUNS" and "MEETS" are beginning to be posted on the "Upcoming Events" thread in our Discussion Forum. FUN RUN's will become a "Sticky" post at the top of the forum until the event takes place, is postponed, or cancelled. Current "Sticky" FUN RUNS include: the CART schedule since we each have an open invitation to attend their public events, the 4/19 Fun Run to participate as a club in the UCONN car show, and the 4/25 "Swap Meet and Eats" in Meriden, CT. So please RSVP to these events to help the organizers plan accordingly and start posting your own "Fun Run" events. Finally, we hope you have marked your calendars for our premiere events, the 2nd CTZCC Annual Car Show on 7/18 and the 4th CTZCC Fall Outing on 10/17. In addition, look for the confirmation of Bob Sharp's Limerock Outing, one of the most talked about events last summer that should not be missed.

Members: Please welcome the new members that joined us during March when you see them in person or on our discussion forums. The "New Members" link is http://forums.ctzcc.com/viewforum.php?f=3

Club Meeting Topics / Presenters: We are looking for topics to be discussed at our monthly club meetings, which occur on the second Wednesday of each month from March through September. Typically we have two different topics / presentations per meeting. Have you always wanted to share your unique knowledge of the Z with a larger audience? Maybe you have knowledge of Z history, specific models, restoration, modifications or other topics that club members would be interested in. If so, please send me an e-mail so we can get you on the calendar. Don't be shy - it's fun!

Hope to see most of you at our upcoming meeting (tonight!) Sincerely, Ross
