The very first 240z ever to be sold has joined the CTZCC!

We have all been preparing to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the very first 240z Datsun ever sold to the public, which happened on 22Oct69.

That car was HLS30-00016, which JUST JOINED YOUR CLUB TODAY :D

I was amazed to see its nearly-pristine original condition, so I have to share a picture of it with you, even before its owner makes his NEW MEMBER INTRO from Florida.

Here is a true 40-year old 240z, and yet another historic milestone which has been added to your Z Car Club!

The further amazing fact is that the owner has a designated garage/showroom full of more than 15 other low-VIN 240Zs! Heaven on Earth!

Good ole Jim Frederick, now this guy is insane, totally insane for The Z
but super awesome, friendly, and one of the nicest z guys you'll ever meet.
We have hung out at the latest ohio z convention and daytona 's convention.
i have to tell him to make room for my z cars and a cot in his garage

Yessir. We have car #6 (the Toronto Auto Show car), car #16 (first Z ever sold to the public), about 15 more 240Zs of historic importance (all owned by this one Florida new-join) ~ AND,

far on the other end of the spectrtum we have Bob Sharp's GT-R, Liam's NISMO, and Os' new 370Z.

In between, I *THINK* we might have one model of each type produced in each year, from 1969 - 2009. That includes Fairladys, G-Nose cars, convertibles, Black Pearls, Anniversary Editions, 2+2s, T-Tops, ZXs, GT33s, Z31s, Z32s, Z33s, ABCs and XYZs. I bet we have one of everything in here.

Getting to be a pretty amaZing place to hang out in!
