THE CTZCC HAS JUST ACHIEVED OUR 2,000TH DISCUSSION FORUM POSTING!

Shortly after Midnight, our Washington State member Dan Linquist made the 1,999th entry. In the middle of the night 300ZX made the 2,000th entry, followed at dawn by AirJockie's 2001st entry! I find it significant that THIS CLUB NEVER SLEEPS! We have grown so much this year that we now encompass several time zones and even overnight, we continue to make our own history. Part of our Heartbeat now even comes from Australia!

We started 2008 with about 260 Discussion Forum Posts. In August we hit a Club landmark with our 1,000th Post. Altho it took us close to a year to reach the first 1,000 discussions, it took us fewer than 100 more days to reach the SECOND thousand!

We are growing in all directions. Surely we are one of the most (if not THE most) active Z Clubs on the internet. I invite you to visit other Z websites ~ there are many of them and some look really sharp. But then read the dates on the most-recent entries and you'll see the difference btwn our CTZCC and the rest of the world. Their most recent entries were DAYS ago (or months!) and ours happen every hour.

I'm very proud of our great Membership. Not just the growing numbers (altho that's exciting) ~ but the quality of people who join this Club and participate in this website is equal to none. Humorous, generous, knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to share their wisdom with other Z owners. Truly like a family.

Congratulations, CT Z Car Club ~ you've attained airspeed, your gear is up, your throttles are full open and you're climbing fast. I wouldn't want to belong to any other Z organization right now. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

Thanks Frank for a fitting recognition of this milestone. And thanks to all of our members for their active participation in our events and on our discussion forum. I truly feel that I belong to a community of brothers via this club (and a couple of sisters!). There are some really great people in this club who would do just about anything for other club members. I am very much looking forward to next season! Ross

Frank: Great post! I couldn't be more proud to belong to this club. I belong to about 5 "Z" clubs, however this is the only club i truly feel a part of. My only wish is that some day soon, i can meet many of you in person. Dan
