While most of us revere a 3.0 or 3.1L engine increase, the Aussies push it all the way out to 3.5L.

I agree Frank but it seems he blew the engine racing.
That was a stupid move in itself but at least he had a new killer engine manufactured.
He should preserve 211 and get a 71 or later for racing.
One wrong move and he could total that beauty.

Right! There were fewer than 600 1969 cars to begin with, and there are sure far fewer of them remaining today. The 1971 cars were more rigid than the '69s-'70s anyway, and they made about 35,000 of them that year. No need to carve up an original 1969 car.
