Those of you on Facebook may have heard of the passing of Clive Bogle's father on September 27th.

Clive is a long-standing and valued member of our club.

Please join me in sending Clive your condolences and wishing him peace and healing during this very difficult time.

Clive is about the hardest working young man I know. He is almost always in motion, almost always building and buying and fixing and selling Z cars. He and his dad worked very closely together in their NY shop, and his father taught Clive a great deal about cars and business. As Clive relayed it to me, the two men worked together in the car shop early in the day. Clive had to leave shortly to get something and while he was out, his dad unexpectedly passed on.

Clive has been a member of our CTZCC for many years, and he studied our Club in preparation for building his own Z club ~ the NYZCC, who we consider our sister club. We have attended many dual events together and each club has a standing invitation at the other's table. Clive is famous (or infamous?) for building the fire-snorting Corvette-powered Evil Z. In the short 7 yrs I've known him, Clive has lost a scary number of people who were very close to him, including our dear friend Tommy Sullivan and the Sullivan girls.

My deepest and most sincere condolences go to Clive and his family, but words are never enough to quell the pain at times like these.

sending a lot of respect and condolences, Clive,
Frank T

The only positive thing about this situation is that Clive Bogle Sr. got to witness his son grow into a fine man in every sense of the word.

Clive - I'm sure your Dad was extremely proud of you - your work ethic, your mechanical abilities (which I don't have at probably twice your age) and just seeing how you relate to and treat people. You are a class act and I'm sure your Dad enjoyed every moment of his time with you - especially in the garage.

May your mourning be brief and replaced by only the happy memories my friend.
