Wherever this Z goes, it should have a good CTZCC decal on it. Does it need a new one?

I can clearly zee the NYZCC decal from here.

Frank CTZCC decals are on the rear hatch and will be left on the car.

Thanks Clive. When you learn this car's destination or new curator, can we be told pleaZe?

It would be grand to zee it at this Fall's Annual Outing picnic.

I know we've all said this to you before, but it deserves to be said again ~ THANK YOU for all you did to help this car literally rise from the ashes. You and RDZ spent a lot of back-room time (and money) making this happen. We all loved Sully and his family and we know what his cars meant to him. It's special that y'all made this happen.

Z people really are good people.

I can also picture a small ShowBoard made for this car, with the picture of it buried in the burned garage, telling the story.....wherever the car is shown in the future, the board would certainly draw the attention it deserves.

Frank

Aww, they did a superb job.
Factory fresh and showroom new in appearance. I just know you would have loved to show this car at ZCon, Clive.

Tom would be proud. This was how he left it the last time he saw it.

I remember the first time I saw this Z. Several CTZCC members attended the NYZCC picnic function in Roosevelt park (I think?) in NY and Sully led us back to the highway after the event. I drove directly behind him and got to listen to those lusty pipes gearing up and down thru the twisty backroads on the way back to the interstate.

OK Joe P ~ your perfect 280Z now has some real competition!

I think the shop which did this deserves a note in our VENDOR RAVES and GRIPES.

Frank

Anybody who's looking for a like-new 280Z with an honored history, this car certainly deserves your consideration.

We can spare a moment of reflective thought tomorrow for our member Tommy (49), Donna (48), Meaghan (18) and Mairead (13) Sullivan who lost their lives 4 yrs ago in this tragic fire. It would be an appropriate time to re-read this thread and remember them. If anyone has any updated information on Tommy Jr (now 24) who was woken and saved by his Dad, or on Sully's Z, which our members Clive Bogle and RDZ had restored from this fire, this would be a good time to share it.

Don't forget our friends.

Thanks Frank for always remembering our lost and beloved members. While I have no updates, I join with you in marking this tragic occasion and holding the entire Sullivan family in my prayers. If was an even bigger loss to our friends at NYZCC, like Clive Bogle and Dave Cerutti. I believe the three of them were the very heart of that club and I'm sure his presence is still sorely missed.
