See, this is exactly the big advantage of belonging to a Z club. As Guy mentioned, there were no instructions for doing this in the common printed manuals we are all familiar with. If 20 different owners attempted this, they would use 20 different methods and we'd be reading tales of woe from about half of them afterward.

Yes, this applies specifically to 280Zs of 1978 (the most-numerous 280Zs) but it might also help with other years. The safety advice is worth the whole article itself. We learn from each other so none of us has to run down the street on fire.

Nice work Guy. :thumbs_up: If we had a Smilie of two hands clapping, I'd use it here.
