I just picked this up a couple months ago, build date 11/71, so far it has just started with $500 and a Dream. I put it in the back yard for now and probably will start in the spring, because I have to finish the 280 first. I have so far set everything I will install on the car downstairs in a room for now. I have the early 240 dashboard and a complete white interior sitting down there now, (thanks John T.,) along with boxes of parts and brand new fenders. My plans are to stick with original for it's timeline except for the color of the paint, original is orange, and plan on a green, and original interior is black, but will now be white. It came with no engine and an automatic transmission, but will get a 2.4, and I might do the emission stuff, still pondering that Idea. It will get the 4-speed and have the R-180 set up. So I have my work cut out for me..........and it gets better, it looks like I'll have 2 more Z's to restore after this.......another S30 and a S130 with T-tops.

Well I have everything tucked away behind the garage and soon will fence that section in, but even at the moment it's hard to see anything..............of course now that the leaves have dropped, except my Japanese maples, you might see a little bit if you look hard........besides, we are number one and were here first. :P
So for the first time ever in my yard, in a row are a 240z a 260z and a 280z. :D I couldn't fit the 280zx along side of them, but that's out front with a cover on it. Also on the other side of the truck is the roadster.

Ha Ha Ha yea those wheels.......the guy that hooked me up with the car wanted them, so I said he could have them for hooking me up with the deal......let alone he was my interpreter because the owners business man spoke no English. Once I showed up with the trailer and cash in my and, then the owner came out and dealt with me and spoke English. I thought it was good business and we too care of each other, I brought him some parts for the 280 he was restoring. Yea Frank, once we get a new merchandise director, or some one changes their mind because they had the greatest job in the world, we can add that to the list.

I woke up from my dream. I ended up selling what was left to a guy who is going to use the roof and some other parts. Sold for $400, so ended up with some seats door panels and other misc. parts for $100. Well at least the roof will be saving another Z car, because Z Car Lives Matter. :D

Well, maybe it didn't get restored, but at least it was an organ donor.
ZLM!

The guy that bought the parts car, this is what it was used for. Not much Z work for me this year, but gathered parts and another Z. I'm looking at doing work over the winter on my Z and get it ready for next year, it will be 50 years old next Summer.
