I just picked this up a couple months ago, build date 11/71, so far it has just started with $500 and a Dream.
I put it in the back yard for now and probably will start in the spring, because I have to finish the 280 first. I have so far set everything I will install on the car downstairs in a room for now. I have the early 240 dashboard and a complete white interior sitting down there now, (thanks John T.,) along with boxes of parts and brand new fenders. My plans are to stick with original for it's timeline except for the color of the paint, original is orange, and plan on a green, and original interior is black, but will now be white. It came with no engine and an automatic transmission, but will get a 2.4, and I might do the emission stuff, still pondering that Idea. It will get the 4-speed and have the R-180 set up. So I have my work cut out for me..........and it gets better, it looks like I'll have 2 more Z's to restore after this.......another S30 and a S130 with T-tops.

I ended up selling what was left to a guy who is going to use the roof and some other parts. Sold for $400, so ended up with some seats door panels and other misc. parts for $100. Well at least the roof will be saving another Z car, because Z Car Lives Matter.
