| Post subject: | Removing Door chrome trim |
Wondering if someone has some insight into removal of the exterior chrome trim at top door edge of a '74 260z, also handle the assembly & door lock. Need to remove prior to stripping. Thought I'd seek advice of someone who's been there, rather than just heading off blindly. Thanks - Harry |

I just remove the door panel, put the window down and look under the molding with a light and pry up on the clips themselves....gently, don't force, just move to the next one, and so on until one pops, and keep going back and forth from one to the other prying gently. I put grease on before I reinstall so it's always easier the next time. |
