I just posted a process to re-attach a damaged chrome strip to a 240Z tail light lens on another forum. Rather than repeat the entire post, here's a link that all should be able to get to: http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/52936 ... ip-repair/ I'm sure no one has ever snapped off the plastic pin on the back of a tail light assembly but just in case it does happen, this might be a fix for you.
