Are there any problems in fitting 280Z seats in a '72 240Z? I plan to remove a set of Recaros which are just too wide for the car and replace them with some re-covered 280Z seats. The Recaros were installed by a former owner and are difficult for my wife to adjust. Thanks.

You must change the mounting rails, 240 is different from 280. Other than that a perfect fit.

Do you still have the Recaros?

The Recaros are still in the car and I probably won't make any changes until early next year (still negotiating with the wife about leaving them in the car) :?

We expect to at home on 10/14. Give us a ring when in the area to be sure (516) 922-9218. I need to note that the drivers seat has several rips in the left bolster's grey fabric; the rest of the seats look OK.

Change of plans; won't be in Westbury (Joe Walsh) that nite, opted for the 10/8 show in Port Chester. However, you may consider a road trip to CTZCC's last monthly meeting of the zeason that evening at Miller Nissan in Fairfield,Ct. If you've been following the Doing it in a Datsun thread in 'General Z Discussion' that guy doing the one lap of America thing might be there. Just sayin'.
