Need to patch lower, rear front fender. Bought TABCO lower fender patch panel. Panel appears to fit well, but geometry of rear panel portion not same as original fender. Rear edge of original fender, where it meets front door, is a folded/rolled edge. Patch panel just ends with material at a 90 degree edge. Assume I should trim edge material to length & fold over using pliers, hammer & dolly to achieve the folded, rolled look. Anyone have any experience or insight regarding working with the rear fender edge?
Thanks - Harry

Harry I think you answered your own question.
Use sheet metal seamer pliers where it's a flat area and smaller pliers for curves. You may have to put in some cuts to allow the folding. It's tedious but it will come out good. One other thing fill the overlap gap so no corrosion can start there.
