I am thinking of changing out or adding an additional horn to my 280z . . . . one for the idiot on the highway texting or using their phone that is wandering around their lane . . . . anyone know where I could find one that would get the Queen Mary's attention ?|

I am getting tired of just hoping they see me.

During our GoKart meeting, I was introduced to two excellent horn systems.

First was the 120dB DENALI SOUND BOMB, a motocycyle air horn which (for $50) was even too loud for me. It contains its own compressor and fits anywhere:

Second, and my ultimate choice, were the Nissan Sport Horns which, for $45 (using our Club discount at my favorite Nissan dealer) sound like a 1960 Maserati, but louder

Orrrr, if you're really crazy and don't care if you get kicked out of the Club:

Oh man I love that ship horn!
I used to have a 12 volt rotating air horn from an old fire engine. It was lots of fun.

I've always been partial to Hornblasters.com. Considered something like this once, but decided it would cause an accident or road rage incident....

You know Bryan that is really what I am looking for . . . . . but I don't think it would work as the only horn . . . . . either that of one suited to being an old style deep sounding fog horn.

I've run a set of FIAMM air horns for many years. They always do a great job of clearing the way!

I initially installed FIAMMs on my car, but blew the 20a common fuse each time I hit the horn button. :? Yours work OK?

I've never had a fuse or other electrical problem with them. But then... perhaps I'm not using them enough and certainly not having to deal with NE traffic!

Some years ago my wife and I were on vacation for few days in Boston and we noted how many cars had accident damage. After watching drivers for a couple of days, all became clear!!!
