I'm looking for the the rubber boot (mine is dried up and unserviceable) that goes on the end of the handbrake lever shaft (see attached pdf, I've circled the location w/ component shown). I do have the nylon bushing which this boot surrounds (it has an open gap which I assume is necessary for install @ end of shaft) but would ideally like to replace this as well. Does anyone know where I can locate/source one or both of these parts? Another thought I had was that perhaps this setup was used on later Datsun/Nissan vehicles and thus might still be available thru a dealer...thoughts?

In advance, THANKS.

Chris

Would try courtesy Nissan, something that is made of rubber is hard to find used. Someone else out there is making rubber parts..............BD maybe.

Not sure if you got this figured out or not- but find your car on here - http://www.carpartsmanual.com - then find the part you are looking for and the corresponding part number below the diagram number and call your closest nissan dealer.

Some of these old parts can still be had. You just need the part numbers since their computers can usual NOT search for our older vehicles
