I'm replacing the gasket from around the side quarter windows on my 1970 240 (the gasket that goes between the window frame and the body). When I took them off I didn't note the way the gasket is placed on.

- Do the to two ribs face 'in' towards the window frame like the photo shows? Does the longer rib go inboard or out?

If I remember correctly from taking the quarter lites out of the 1971 Club Partz Car, the flat side went against the quarterlite and the groove straddled the body ridge around the window pane? In other words, I think you have it backwards in the photo.

I can look it up later tonight.

Thanks, figured it out. Flat side goes towards the frame, longer rib faces outwards.

I used black weatherstrip cement to hold it and taped it in placed until it set. I was then able to get the window in place...new 4mm screws.
