Hi everyone! I've been putting it off for the past couple of years, but this winter I really want to fix up the Z. It looks like I'll have some time on my hands this winter - maybe that's a blessing in disguise. Funds are a little tight, so I need to do as much as possible on my own, including body work.

SO - anyone in the Westerly, RI area (or close enough) who is so incredibly bored that he/she is willing to help me tinker with the Z? I can pay you in beer/wine/pizza and good conversation.

One other thing ... even though I am female I really enjoy working on cars (and motorcycles) and I like to get my hands dirty (not really - I wear gloves). I'm tolerably okay with tools and such. I have all the basic tools but will probably have to buy some as I go along. I do all the maintenance on my Subaru Outback (including replacing a half axle recently), but I know I'm still a newbie when it comes to a lot of these things. I rely heavily on my Haynes manual. I'm looking for a partner and a mentor, but not someone who will pamper me. Put me to work ... just help me out when I get in over my head.
