Dear friends, the OEM (original) exterior colour of my beauty is: 918 orange (mexican orange 60636F, Ditzler). Does someone know eventually what ingredients and volumes required to blend that colour? Thanks, Thor |

Hey Thor, Locate a shop that supplies auto paints for repair shops and ask them if your paint code is in their computer - the "recipe" should be on hand. I had no difficulty locating acrylic enamel in 920 gold to paint my engine bay. The paint I used is PPG Delstar DAR, it was custom mixed by hand while I waited. It was very interesting to see it mixed by weight on a scale, not by volume or dispensed by a computer process. Caution: if mixed by hand, make sure you get enough paint to complete the job. If you have to go back for more, there could be a subtle difference in the next batch. Good luck!!! Jim |
