Thanks Clive. Had to look long and hard for them.

Hey Frank. Not yet, USPS tried to deliver them today. Hopefully they are in good shape when I get em...

Gorgeous set of rims and believe me, I'm tempted. The only thing
that bothers me is the maintenance factor, since I have a set of what
we called "honeycomb" mags on the 510 which are somewhat similar.

However, if anyone knows of any product or process to keep them
neat and clean, minimizing the maintenance factor (preferably some
kind of dirt/road grime/brake dust repellent that would shed stuff
before it ever stuck on there), that would certainly help me or any
other prospective buyer when making our decision.

K&R I think you are talking about the Appliance Mesh wheels right? If so I agree with you they need constant love and TLC.

theZman, there are a lot of options for old school mesh wheels. SSR reverse mesh, SSR formula mesh, Almex, Enkei, Appliance, Weds Autobahn it goes on and on. Check out Og San and Enkei 92s on eBay for some ideas. Both of those wheels were recently reissued.

I should have some pics tomorrow of them on my car.

I think that completes my 'look' for the season. Lol.

Ok maybe I will start on the interior....

Those look great! Will look very good once the car is painted which will go with how great it sounds!

Thanks y'all. I didn't get to put the wheels on this weekend. I'll put pics up when I do.

Here are a few pics with the wheels on the car from today's AutoX rookie school. The car handled and ran like a champ!

You can thank Vinny Bedini for that. He never lets a Z escape his speed shop until he's confident it will impress the owner with its performance and handling. I figure I've got $2 worth of improvement out of every $1 I ever spent there.

This looks REALLY good! Much better than the day we worked on it together. Zee what happens when you keep me away from your car for a year?

Hahaha, Frank its actually exactly the same as before all I did was add the wheels. Otherwise it is just as grungy. And YES Vinny did a great job!

I took the car out today for a little spin. No leaks, fired right up, drove and handled great. I have a lot of respect for all of the little things that are still left to be done. It needs a ton of work to be comfortable and up to snuff.

This car is now for sale. See my ad.

Anybody got a cheap 240z shell lying around for my next project?

Its going to have an L24 or L28, just in case that helps...

:D
