Here is a quick addition to the new forum. I am working on the in-process pictures of 15320, will get them added soon.

Publication: Wick Humble's book How To Restore Your Datsun Z-car, originally published by Fisher Books in 1990. It is still in print with a new publisher and available on Amazon for $16.47. This is an excellent guide, very well written, 240 pages. Link:

Parts: most everyone knows of Courtesy Nissan in Richardson TX (my turf). You may not know they are one of the few dealerships still paying Nissan for access to the old parts catalog. I visited with David House in the parts dept. this week. David is a former Z owner and one of the founding members of the Z Club of Texas. If you provide him with a part #, he will research the availability on the catalog. Courtesy's on-line parts inventory does not list all the available parts. Club members usually get a 20-25% discount. Items featured on the Courtesy website are already fully discounted.
David can be contacted at david@courtesyparts.com.

I have been in touch with Dave at Courtesy. He wants us to know he used to own Apr/70 240Z HLS30-03043. He sold it to Courtesy many years ago, and they had it completely restored. It sold on EBay for slightly under $20,000.

He knows the early 240Z cars like the back of his hand. Good reference man!

Frank
