Does your car have coat hanger knobs/hooks behind the seats? They would be above and behind the driver's and passenger's ears.

If so, you could tie a loop of thin rope or fishline around the door's window frame, and loop it over the coat hooks when you needed to use the car.

Don't ask how I know that. :oops:
