The doors of my 260Z aren’t latching. I think the problem is with the Mickey Mouse ears of the circular latch not aligning. What position should they be in, relative to a clock (so if the center of the ears is to be straight down, that would be 6 o’clock). Thanks!

My deepest apologies; I completely forgot to get back to you. No excuse, Sir.

I forgot I gave my 260Z manual away; I no longer have that info available.

Thanks anyway! I just need a photo anyway. I’ll have to take one of mine & see how they stack up to working doors!

So here are some pics if it helps, the 260z, (blue,) is the same as the 240.

Paul's picture #1, if you look REAL close, seems to show another roller at the six o'clock position. Good pictures Paul.

There are 6 different adjustments to our doors; up-down, forward-back, and tip in-out at the top and bottom. I've had mine to a couple mechanics and a body shop and it still bulges out at the bottom. The replaced rubber seals are suspected to be too fat to allow my doors to close completely.

It's been awhile...how did this all work out, please? Do your doors close securely now or do your passengers still fall out on hard turns?

Frank

The doors still do not close. I have tried moving the door piece slightly, but haven’t found the sweet spot.
