I have a source online for a double-din radio bezel to fit a new stereo head unit and now just need a reliable stereo guy for the install. My current aftermarket Sony was not connected properly and whines with a high pitched wiz sound along with increased RPM's. I should mention there is a nice amplifier and crossover network in the car but may need some wiring reworked.

If anyone knows of a good installer, please let me know. Best case scenario would be someone not far from southeast CT and who knows and has worked on 300zx stereos and speakers.

Thanks!

You need to speak with our member Mike Winters first ("TheSoundGuy") if you can locate him. If your whine changes frequency or volume with your engine rpm, that's an ignition interference (the very reason they shielded the 1960s Corvette ignitions in lead boxes. We also needed it in our '56 and '59 Chevys, but just made-do with the AM radio whine).
