Here are some snaps my Dad dug out from the archives. Great stuff. All taken at Lime Rock circa '75 or '76? Pre G-nose.

Cheers,
Colin

Great pictures, thanks for sharing! The oncoming Camaro in the last picture looks to be mid seventies. I had a 77 just like that.

Thanks Phil. I'll pass on the kind words to my pops.

I believe those 2 (2nd nd 4th) are actually Chevy Monzas

Also, there is a good thread going over at classiczcars.com regarding vintage Z racing pics....good stuff...so long as you ignore the silly bickering over there (=

Didja notice the pit monkeys working under the car in the 3rd and 4th photos? Bob might remember who they were.

Great photos, just great. Dekon Monzas battled 934s (and turbo 320s at one point) while Datsuns battled non-turbo BMWs and Porches.

Any photos of that crazy Kemp Mustang Cobra II?

Any chance you could get some higher megapixel scans? I'd love to put one of these pics up in the garage.

Very nice, thanks.

REALLY CLASS PICTURES! WHEN I WAS WORKING MY WAY THROUGH TECH SCHOOL (1991) I WORKED PART TIME FOR PARKS DRIVER'S SERVICE. ONE OF OUR BIGGEST CLIENTS WAS PAUL NEWMAN. EVEN THOUGH HE WASN'T RACING MUCH BY THEN, IT WAS GREAT TO GO IN HIS "BARN" AND SEE THE GREAT PICTURES OF THOSE OLD BOB SHARP CARS. THOSE WERE INDEED THE DAYS.
