Was going through some old photographs and came across my "first" Datsun. I loved this truck. It was only 4 cylinder but had lots of pep. Wish I had it today.

Ross; it looks like my 74 p u. Mine had a 2000 cc engine, which was really a 1880 cc. Yes these trucks were plenty fast.

When I first met my ex-wife she was driving a 72 510, was a sweet little car, fun to drive, then it began to rust out.... After we had our first child we got a used 77 710 wagon that ran like a top and after a couple of years it suffered the rust fate also, i had to change the headpipe on it once and was amazed to find it fastened on with brass nuts, a breeze to remove after being subjected to all that heat... Will try to find some pics. Tom
