Not that you're proud or anything, right Vince? 8)

I love the bodywork on your Z and I think the best part of it is the extended headlamp covers. They would put a '66 250LM Ferrari to shame.

Bob's GTU Z Replica That I shot at Lime Rock Park just before being shipped up to N.H. for the 2013 National Z Convention.
I noticed that there was nothing new posted here and thought I would share one of my Favorites, Also I speak with Bob on a regular basis and want everyone to know that He and His wife Carol are doing great and enjoying sunny Florida.

Would love to zee Mister Bob again at the Fall Outing picnic this weekend. I know there are some new Clubbies who haven't met him yet and it would be a big thrill to sit and share some BBQ with him and hear his stories.

Happy memories.
I hope Bob is doing well down South and that he still gets a lap in once in awhile. I understand he was adopted by a bunch of local car clubs as soon as he arrived there.

I've been having fun making my car a bit "Sharper" lately.

OH, YES, OH YES, OH YES.

I like the fact that you can see 'sharply' from any part of your car. Very tasteful.

Q: Is that the same brand steering wheel which Bev Bianchi had on her 240? Please tell us who made that ~ I've been lusting for one since I saw it on their car.

Frank T

Hi Frank,

In the absence of brand new, OEM, sparkly BSR parts, I've gotten a little creative:

Steering wheel: Bought a Grant wooden steering wheel from MSA years ago. Bought BSR keychain from David Levinson (Scott Cole used to sell them too). Cut emblem off leather fob and used a grinder to remove the metal tab. Glued emblem onto steering wheel.

Valve cover cap: BSR apparently purchased OEM Nissan Valve cover caps to produce the ones they sold with the BSR valve covers years ago. If you compare an original BSR valve cover cap with one still offered by Nissan, they appear indistinguishable except for the BSR emblem. Used the method above to glue a BSR emblem on the OEM Nissan cap.

Are they authentic: No. Are they cool to me? Yes!

So he's not only tasteful, he's clever too. 8)

Great job. I love it. I personally have never been able to accomplish both tasteful and clever at the same time. That's a feat in itself. And maybe neither one. Lol.  :D
