I've been doing a curious thing for awhile. Whenever I come across a picture of a Bob Sharp part, accessory or brochure, I keep a picture of it. So I thought it would be fitting to post them here for all to see. Most are from e-bay, some are from member cars (thanks Vince!), and some I've just had in my library for a long time. So here they are:

Hey Ross:

You've posted some great stuff here!

I think it might be interesting to get the Bob Sharp article from R&T posted in its entirety - why not scan each page of the article and email it to me - I'll convert it to a PDF file that we can attach to this post.

- Jim

Yeah, Ross ~ we'd all like to read how the 280Z did on the track compared to the original 240 racer.

Jim,
Unfortunately, I don't have the article! I only have the picture of page one of the article that I borrowed from an e-bay ad. Here are some additional photos. Ross

I have to tell you guys at the meeting about the old Paul Newman and Tom Cruises z which i had the opportunity to buy. No room and no title = no purchase. I wish i had that car though.

Well, it sort of was. I forgot you were "out of the country" in New Jersey that weekend, so you didn't get to hear Bob's stories about that car. That was the poster the Club raffled off during the Fall Outing. Somebody in the crowd asked Bob where the car is today and if it's for sale or not. Bob explained that the car had experienced "either a slow blowout or a real fast air-out" of a rear tire when he was going as fast as the car would go. He said it was the worst crash of his career and the car disassembled itself bouncing end over end.

Here he is telling that story:

E-bay auction for early racing patches / stickers. Note the Bob Sharp "owners club" patch. That is one I had not seen before. Ross
