VOTING WILL CLOSE ON THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH!

Nominees: you are strongly encouraged to post a message in this thread and share with us some of the details and stories that make your Z special.

One vote per member, please visit each nominee's complete album before casting your vote. Once you cast your vote, you will not be able to change it, so choose wisely!

Voting is 100% anonymous - nobody (including me, the webmaster) will know who voted for whom.

There will be no recounts, hanging chads, Supreme Court intervention, etc...In the event of a tie, a coin will be tossed and the decision of the judges will be final.

Good luck to this month's nominees - each of them is deserving of this award!

ENJOY!

- Jim

Looks like I'm takin it on the chin in early voting. I better work on some additional cosmetic modifications (or bribery). Even I like the look of the earlier cars better. Go John!

I suppose I could use Photoshop and paint a few dents, holes and rust spots on to the photos of John's Z, but it probably wouldn't matter...those old Z's are always going to be the sentimental favorites...

(DRUMS ROLL, CYMBALS CRASH, THE BAND STRIKES UP AND THE PEOPLE CHEER)

John, yours is one of the finest examples of a Series-1 Z car I've had the pleasure of viewing, and you know I voted for you because of the ANSA exhaust system you still have on the car!

At the car show this month, one of the additional things I wish we had been able to do is post a complete list of everyone's votes. Yes, we all know who won and which cars finished in 2nd and 3rd places, but I felt it might be valuable for each owner to know how many people actually voted for their car. In that way an owner might determine how much more work might be needed for him/her to take the top trophy. In your case this wouldn't matter ~ I've seen your car up close and there's simply nothing to improve.

Small wonder you've owned it all these years.

Pay close attention to those other Zs, John. They're hot and look great and will probably out handle and out perform your '71 car in certain areas. But on any given day, I'd rather hold the keys to yours.
And that's really saying something, considering the competition!

Jim Hagani, what a great thing you've created here! Thanks for the fun of this competition each month. That's just a dozen more reasons each year to love this club! :D

By the way, this is Waaaaaaaayyy late, but when John's 1971 won the August contest, he did so without mentioning a small item on his car:

Now I see why it's picked at random. It would be tough to vote on just one Z.
