Had lil red @ Vinny's for about ten daze earlier this month. What an experience! Got a tour of the premier s30 candy store in this neck of the world. Stub axle bearings (klunkless shifts thru 5k!!!) and 200yd deer-freezin' headlights topped a whole list of stuff long overdue (not to mention a few 'this ain't right,who put this in here?' from Vinny his ownself. The man's passion iz second nature). The 90 minute ride back home was too short.
If you're early Z,go there. Period. Seriously.

Just went there. Spent the entire afternoon and evening ystrdy letting Vinny replace my Neo brakelines with steel, rotating my tires, flushing my brake fluid, bleeding and adjusting my brakes, replacing the odd burned bulb here and there, and tightening up the odd nut and bolt.

At the end we argued about price.
He told me I offered him too much. I almost had to hold him down and force him to take my money.

Whatever was causing my weird brake drag/lockup problem seems to be gone now. One of my calipers had become so hot, it actually scorched the red paint off the unit. He told me to test it as much as possible to try to duplicate the complaint ~ if I can, I can bring it back to him for repair at parts-only cost.

TRY to find anyplace else in today's business world which stands behind their work like that.
