My 240Z exhaust system hanger pulled away from the frame, leaving my expensive ceramic-coated MSA "Twice Pipes" dangling dangerously close to the road. I wired them up and drove carefully to North Haven to an exhaust shop I remembered, ALLSTAR AUTOMOTIVE.
Somehow, in the middle of a Friday afternoon, they had two racks open. They carefully lifted my precious baby on the wheel lift and MIG welded my broken bracket back onto the frame exactly where it belongs, then fabricated a second one at a strategic location to relieve some of the strain on the one which originally pulled away.
The whole deal was done in less than 30 minutes (even with all our shucking and jiving about the Z car era) and cost me far less than I expected. Wham, Bam, in and out with friendly chatter, handshakes all around and an excellent job done with a smile.
I promised I'd brag about them behind their backs.

They are a full-service repair shop which happens to have complete custom exhaust capabilities, including being able to custom bend pipes down to 1.5" in diameter. That means they can duplicate the old ANSA exhaust system if I bring them the pattern Each of the mechanics has about 40 years experience working on many different cars and engines.

I'm really happy with them.
