Do you purchase parts from RockAuto? If so, we would like to hear your blunders and/or feature you & your car or truck in our monthly newsletter! New, old, import, domestic, daily driver, trailer queen, classic, antique, we want to see them all! Please e-mail flamur@rockauto.com with your vehicle's history, your favorite images, interesting details and what parts from RockAuto you have used.

To give you an idea as to what others have sent in use the links below:

Charlie’s 1980 Toyota Celica: http://www.rockauto.com/Newsletter/arch ... 16-13.html
Fabio’s 2002 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning: http://www.rockauto.com/Newsletter/archives/6-6-13.html
Carlos’ 1968 Jeepster Commando: http://www.rockauto.com/Newsletter/arch ... 11-13.html

Do you have a great auto repair blunder to share? Tell us about it! Use your woe to help others avoid similar mistakes or share off-the-wall solutions that worked (at least for a while!). The story will be credited using only your first name and your vague geographic location (state, province, country, continent, etc.) so you can remain semi-anonymous! Please e-mail your story to flamur@rockauto.com.

Are you interested in keeping up with what’s new at RockAuto? Our bi-monthly newsletter will keep you in touch with what’s currently happening at RockAuto. Along with keeping you informed on new parts and/or updates to the RockAuto catalog, every newsletter also features Repair Mistakes & Blunders submitted by our customers, Automotive Trivia, as well as our very own Tom Taylor (Co-owner & Vice President of Marketing) discussing his latest repairs and/or part summaries.

Check out the latest edition of the RockAuto newsletter now: https://www.rockauto.com/Newsletter/index.html

Hmmm.....I wonder if I should send them the story about our (drunk) highschool AutoMech classmates cramming a 409 Chevy into a 1962 Ford Falcon and then backing it thru the rear garage wall and down the embankment, wrecking it against John's father's fruit trees? Seems Ford & Chevy made somethings rotate in opposite directions back then. We wound up with one speed forward and 4 speeds reverse.
