I needed the rear ujoint on my driveshaft replaced because it was stiff, but the one thing I've never mastered is pressing in the bearing caps on a ujoint. After screwing up one joint I decided to pay someone to do it.

My driveshaft was made by Powertrain Industries in CA. They suggested taking it to someone locally for something as inexpensive as a ujoint and recommended Camerota who sources import parts from them. I was a bit leery about taking it to a truck place but it turns out there was nothing to worry about.

Camerota has several locations on the east coast and bill themselves as drivetrain specialists...the place is filled with repaired driveshafts on shelves, they even have a wall with long pipes, I assume they make customs shafts too. I supplied the ujoint and they replaced it, greased the shaft, and checked the balance for under $75. I even got a snazzy sticker which should be good for at least 10 horsepower.
