Well that was fun, thanks Karl.

Couple points I'll comment on. My generation's Z would be either the Z31 or Z32, I remember both when they were new. That said I always wanted a first gen model (S30) myself, and knew where every example "lived" in town. Even the ones hidden in backyards haha.

The 350/370 models didn't resonant with me despite being very high performing cars. I think maybe the styling just isn't my taste.

I love what I'm seeing with the new model coming out. For me, it's really nice to be excited about a new Z again. I can't wait to drive one.

Also, (and this is off topic a bit, but relates to the video) I just want to say it bothers me that the guy on the video is warning viewers about carburetors and no one knowing how to work on them. That's sad, and no excuse. My generation was interesting from a car enthusiast perspective because in high school, when people my age were getting our drivers licenses and first cars, there were many carbureted cars still on the road....but fuel injection was the norm. There was a mix of old and new technology in the school parking lot. Guys like me learned how to tune and care for their carbureted engines and keep them running well. I did the same for my fuel injected cars too. I don't think it matters what's under the hood, if you are at all interested in working on your vehicle then whatever technology it relies on should become a topic of interest and ultimately expertise for you. My opinion of course.

Jay
